TCM Announces St. Louis As Winner of 3rd “Bring TCM To Your Hometown” Contest

Network to Host Free Screening of Meet Me in St. Louis on September 26 with Legendary Actress Margaret O’Brien in Attendance. Tickets Available September 3rd at TCMBacklot.com.

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) today announced that after overwhelming response from fans, St. Louis has been named the winner of the third Bring TCM to your Hometown contest out of 111 cities across the U.S. that were submitted. TCM will host a free screening of Meet Me in St. Louis at the historic Tivoli Theatre on September 26th in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the film. Iconic actress and star of the film Margaret O’Brien will join TCM Primetime Host Ben Mankiewicz for a special introduction and for a meet and greet with fans.

 “TCM is focused on creating communities of classic film fans and engaging with our supporters in their hometowns throughout the country is such an incredible opportunity” said CJ Bargamian, vice president of acquisition and digital engagement, TCM. “We couldn’t have had warmer welcomes in Buffalo and Tucson for our previous contests, and we are excited to show Meet Me in St Louis in its namesake city.”
