WarnerMedia Entertainment names Noelle Huynh Vice President of Research, HBO Max and Liz Lundy Vice President of Content Research, WarnerMedia Entertainment

BURBANK – July 30, 2020 – WarnerMedia Entertainment (WME) announced today that it has expanded its research leadership team under Cheryl Idell, Executive Vice President and Chief Research Officer, WarnerMedia Entertainment and Direct-to-Consumer. Noelle Huynh has been named Vice President of Research, HBO Max and Liz Lundy will serve as Vice President of Content Research, WarnerMedia Entertainment.

In this new role, Huynh leads a team to design and implement research that addresses brand, content, and market strategies for HBO Max. Additionally, Huynh is tasked with overseeing research for optimizing service offerings that evaluate partnership opportunities, drives subscriber acquisition and retention, and additional in-depth custom research efforts to help achieve short and long-term business goals.
 
Huynh comes to WME from Facebook Marketing Research where she designed and conducted global market research to inform marketing and communications strategies. Prior to that she was Director of Research Strategy and Insights at Hulu and was responsible for building the consumer research and marketing analytics functions.
 
Lundy will act as lead of the Content Research Center of Excellence (COE), responsible for conducting innovative qualitative and quantitative research supporting original content for HBO, HBO Max, TBS, TNT, and truTV. Partnering closely with programming, development, and marketing stakeholders on original content and marketing strategy, Lundy will help transform data into actionable insights to support exceptional content creation.
 
She joins WME after five years at Netflix where she worked across Global Original Series and Films. Most recently she was based in Amsterdam focused on Content & Consumer Research for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. Before working at Netflix, Lundy was with NBCUniversal managing consumer insights for brands such as E!, E! Online, Esquire, and Oxygen.
 
Idell’s team focuses on all areas of research across WarnerMedia Entertainment including viewership, content, product, strategic market research, insights and analytics. They also handled all aspects of research leading up to the launch of HBO Max, which made its highly anticipated debut this May.
