HBO NOW Highlights - April 2020

HBO Now

This April brings new, exciting original series and Hollywood blockbusters you won’t want to miss on HBO NOW.

This month starts off with the premieres of Run, a romantic comedic thriller starring Emmy® winner Merritt Wever and Domhnall Gleeson; and HBO Films’ Bad Education, which stars Academy Award® nominee Hugh Jackman and Golden Globe® winner Allison Janney in a story inspired by true events about an embezzlement scheme that surfaces and threatens to destroy a popular Long Island school district’s reputation. April also brings the much-awaited premiere of We’re Here with renowned drag queens Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara and Shangela Laquifa Wadley and the fourth season return of Insecure.

April marks the finale of The Plot Against America and the end of High Maintenances fourth season. Hit theatricals include horror flick It: Chapter 2 with Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy (His Dark Materials) and Bill Hader (Barry), coming-of-age comedy Good Boys, and Stuber with Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley). American Pie, Die Hard, Slumdog Millionaire, The Kids Are Alright starring Mark Ruffalo, and The Lovely Bones, also premiere in the month.

Plus, it’s your last chance to watch Mary Queen of Scots, Mr. Bean’s Holiday, Rush Hour 2, and The Object of My Affection before the films leave the service at the end of April.
