HBO Receives 15 Golden Globe Nominations
“Chernobyl” Ties For Most-Nominated Television Program
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9, 2019 – HBO received 15 Golden Globe® nominations for the upcoming 77th annual Golden Globe® Awards, which were announced today in Los Angeles. The Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 5 in Los Angeles.
HBO’s Golden Globe® nominations this year include:
*4 nominations for “Chernobyl”: Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television; Best Performance by an Actor in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Jared Harris); Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Stellan Skarsgård); Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Emily Watson).
*3 nominations for “Succession”: Best Television Series – Drama; Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama (Brian Cox); Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television – Drama (Kieran Culkin).
*3 nominations for “Big Little Lies”: Best Television Series – Drama; Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama (Nicole Kidman); Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Meryl Streep).
