



NBA on TNT Announces 67-Game Schedule for 2019-20 Regular Season
Schedule highlighted by double-digit appearances by new-look Lakers, Warriors, Clippers, Bucks, Rockets, Celtics & Trail Blazers, plus marquee Opening Week doubleheaders & MLK Day tripleheader

MLK Jr. Day Tripleheader on TNT to Include Lakers/Celtics, Warriors/Trail Blazers WCFs Rematch & Pelicans/Grizzlies Showdown Featuring Top NBA Draft Selections Williamson & Ja Morant
Turner Sports, entering its 36th consecutive year of NBA coverage, will feature a 67-game schedule during the 2019-20 NBA regular season including marquee Opening Week doubleheaders and a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day tripleheader. The network will showcase the league’s brightest stars and biggest off-season acquisitions including:
*12 appearances each by the Los Angeles Lakers, with Anthony Davis joining LeBron James, along with the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry
*11 by the LA Clippers, with the additions of reigning NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and Paul George
*10 each by the Milwaukee Bucks and Kia NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Houston Rockets and its star backcourt of Russell Westbrook and James Harden, the Boston Celtics featuring off-season acquisition Kemba Walker, and Western Conference finalist Portland Trail Blazers and sharpshooters Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum
*9 by the Philadelphia 76ers, with the dynamic duo of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons
TNT will officially tip off the 2019-20 NBA regular season with two Opening Week doubleheaders and some of the league’s most highly-anticipated storylines taking center stage. The network’s Opening Night doubleheader will begin with the New Orleans Pelicans and No. 1 overall draft selection Zion Williamson making their first of seven TNT appearances when they visit the defending NBA Champion Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the Lakers and Davis’ first regular season appearance alongside James vs. the Clippers and newly-acquired Leonard and George at 10:30 p.m.
TNT’s coverage of Autotrader Premiere Week will continue Thursday, Oct. 24, with a doubleheader beginning with Russell Westbrook teaming up with 2018 league MVP James Harden for the first time when the Rockets host the Bucks and 2019 Kia NBA MVP Antetokounmpo at 8 p.m. The night’s second game will feature the Clippers vs. the Warriors and Curry in the regular season opener from Chase Center at 10:30 p.m.
Additionally, NBA on TNT’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day tripleheader on Monday, Jan. 20, will be highlighted by an NBA Western Conference Finals rematch – Warriors vs. Trail Blazers – at 10:30 p.m. MLK Day game coverage will tip off with this year’s top two NBA Draft picks in action – the Pelicans and Williamson vs. the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant – at 5 p.m., followed by another chapter in the historic Lakers vs. Celtics rivalry at 7:30 p.m.
Overall, TNT will televise doubleheaders on 19 Thursdays and 12 Tuesdays throughout the regular season. Additional TNT regular season schedule highlights (full schedule listed below):

*The first TNT appearance for Jimmy Butler with his new Miami Heat team – vs. Hawks – in the opening game of the Thursday, Oct. 31, doubleheader at 7 p.m. The Nuggets will visit the Pelicans and Williamson at 9:30 p.m.
*Kemba Walker will make his return to Charlotte when the Celtics take on the Hornets, Thursday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. The Trail Blazers will then visit the Clippers in the night’s second game at 10:30 p.m.
*The New York return of Kristaps Porzingis – Dallas Mavericks vs. New York Knicks – on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m., followed by Kyrie Irving’s first TNT appearance with the Brooklyn Nets when they visit the Nuggets at 10:30 p.m.
*A star-studded doubleheader on Thursday, Dec. 19, featuring the Lakers and Davis visiting the Bucks and Antetokounmpo at 8 p.m., followed by the Rockets with Harden and Westbrook vs. the Clippers with Leonard and George at 10:30 p.m.
*A return trip to Oklahoma City for Westbrook when the Rockets visit the Thunder and Chris Paul on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 9:30 p.m. The night’s doubleheader will begin with Al Horford hosting his former team – Celtics vs. 76ers – at 7 p.m.
*The Lakers and James heading east to visit the Nets and Irving on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m.
*Three consecutive appearances by the Lakers and Davis – hosting his former team, the Pelicans, and Williamson on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 10 p.m.; vs. Warriors and Curry on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 10:30 p.m.; vs. 76ers and Embiid on Tuesday, Mar. 3, at 10 p.m.
*Conference foes – Nets vs. Bucks at 8 p.m. and Warriors vs. Lakers at 10:30 p.m. – will meet in the final Thursday of regular season action on April 9.
In addition to its regular-season coverage, TNT will be the exclusive home of NBA All-Star Weekend’s signature events including Rising Stars on Friday, Feb. 14, State Farm All-Star Saturday Night on Feb. 15, and the NBA’s 69th annual All-Star Game from Chicago on Sunday, Feb. 16. The network will also televise more than 40 NBA Playoff games including first and second round action and the exclusive presentation of the 2020 NBA Western Conference Finals.
